Barclays Global Investors Announces Name Change of iShares S&P GSSI/GSTI Funds

San Francisco - March 28, 2008 - Barclays Global Investors (BGI) announced the change in name of five iShares S&P GSSI/GSTI Funds to reflect the name changes of their respective indexes effective today. S&P recently announced the indexes' name changes in order to retire references related to Goldman Sachs. There will be no change in the investment objective of the Funds. Shareholders do not have to take any action.
